Burge Family produces fortified and dry red wines from Barossa Valley, South Australia's premier region for bold, structured reds. The winery's Old Muscat, made from Muscatel, and VO Tawny, a blend of Shiraz and Grenache, represent the fortified end of their range—wines of depth and complexity that have drawn assessment from Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. On the dry side, the G3 Red combines Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Shiraz, a southern Rhône-inspired blend that reflects Barossa's warm climate and ability to ripen these varieties to full expression.
