C. von Nell-Breuning produces Riesling from the Mosel, Germany's most celebrated cool-climate region. The winery's portfolio centers on the Kaseler vineyard sites, where slate soils and steep slopes coax aromatic complexity and mineral precision from the grape. The Kaseler Kehrnagel Riesling Kabinett balances residual sweetness with bright acidity—a hallmark of the region's off-dry style. The Kaseler Riesling Feinherb offers a similar sensibility with a touch more body, while the Kaseler Dominikanerberg Riesling Auslese ventures into richer, botrytis-influenced territory. Riesling from the Mosel typically shows white-stone minerality, orchard fruit, and a distinctive petrol note in aged examples. Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast have rated these releases.
