Carrick

Carrick produces Pinot Noir from Central Otago, New Zealand's southernmost wine region. The vineyard's portfolio centers on this single varietal, with three flagship expressions: Pot de Fleur, Bannockburn, and Excelsior. Central Otago's continental climate—marked by intense sunlight, cool nights, and schist-rich soils—shapes Pinot Noir of depth and structure. The region's cool conditions extend ripening, building complexity while preserving the grape's natural acidity and aromatic precision. Carrick's Pinot Noirs have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator, with the Pot de Fleur bottling earning particular recognition among prestige critics.
