Casaletti

Casaletti operates in Soave, the Veneto region of Northern Italy renowned for crisp, mineral whites and structured reds. The winery draws on the area's classical varieties: Garganega and Chardonnay for its whites, and the Corvina-based blends—Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella—that define the region's reds. Its Soave balances the delicate florality and acidity characteristic of Garganega with Chardonnay's body. The Valpolicella, built from Rondinella, Corvinone, and Corvina, shows the variety and restraint typical of the appellation. The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore, made from the same grapes but employing the ripasso technique—where the wine is re-fermented on the skins of dried grapes—gains depth and concentration. Wine Enthusiast and Decanter have rated these wines.
