Cascina Ca' Rossa

Cascina Ca' Rossa produces Nebbiolo and Barbera from Piemonte's Roero district, where the region's sandy, calcareous soils yield wines of structure and finesse. The winery's Roero Mompissano Riserva and Roero Audinaggio showcase Nebbiolo's characteristic tannins and aromatics, while the Mulassa Barbera d'Alba expresses the darker fruit and acidity for which Barbera is prized. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate and Falstaff. The Roero zone, situated north of Alba, is recognized for Nebbiolo expressions that differ in character from the more famous Barolo and Barbaresco regions to the south—lighter in body, more delicate in frame, yet capable of aging and complexity.
