Casetta

Casetta produces Nebbiolo-based wines from Langhe in Piemonte's rolling hills. The winery's portfolio centers on two of Italy's most structured reds: Barolo and Barbaresco, both expressions of the region's demanding terroir and the grape's capacity for aging and complexity. Vigna Case Nere Barolo and Barolo Riserva represent the winery's work with Nebbiolo in its most serious form, while Barbaresco Riserva offers a complementary perspective on the variety. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Spectator. Langhe's continental climate, limestone-rich soils, and elevation create conditions that push Nebbiolo toward high tannin and acidity—hallmarks of wines built for the cellar. Casetta's focus on reserve expressions underscores a commitment to extended aging and concentration.
