Celler Cecilio operates in Priorat, the steep-terraced region of Catalunya known for dense, structured reds built on slate and schist soils. The winery works primarily with Garnacha and Cariñena, the traditional backbone of Priorat, alongside Syrah. L'Espill, a Cariñena and Garnacha blend, represents the house's core expression—a wine that has drawn attention from Wine Enthusiast and Wine Advocate. Negre, which adds Syrah to the Cariñena and Garnacha base, offers a darker, more muscular interpretation of the terroir.
