Chambeyron produces Syrah-based wines from Côte-Rôtie, the steep-terraced appellation in the Northern Rhône where granite and schist soils yield wines of dark intensity and mineral precision. The winery's flagship, L'Angeline, is pure Syrah—a wine that has drawn attention from Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate. Lancement, also Syrah, follows a similar trajectory of critical recognition. La Chavarine blends Syrah with Viognier, the white grape traditionally co-fermented in Côte-Rôtie to soften tannins and add floral complexity. These wines reflect the appellation's character: structured, age-worthy reds built on the region's volcanic terroir and the grape's natural spice and dark fruit.
