Chamonix

Chamonix sits in Paarl, within the Coastal Region of South Africa's Western Cape. The winery's portfolio centers on distinctive white and red expressions. The Old Vine Steen, a Chenin Blanc, stands as the flagship white—a wine that demonstrates the variety's capacity for complexity and age-worthiness in this terroir. The Reserve White blends Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, combining the textural weight of the former with the aromatic precision of the latter. On the red side, Troika Reserve draws from Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend that marries structure with the darker fruit character these varieties bring to the region. The winery's work has drawn assessment from Wine Spectator, Falstaff, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter.
