Château Branas Grand Poujeaux sits in Moulis-en-Médoc, the smallest and most sheltered appellation of the Médoc. The vineyard draws from the region's left-bank terroir—gravelly plateaus and clay-limestone soils that favor Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The flagship Moulis-en-Médoc blends Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot into a wine of structure and depth. Les Eclats de Branas Grand Poujeaux, a more complex cuvée, incorporates Cabernet Franc and Malbec alongside the core varieties, adding aromatic dimension. A second expression, Les Eclats de Branas Moulis, centers on Cabernet Franc and Merlot with supporting Cabernet Sauvignon.
