Both blend Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, a structure typical of the appellation—wines built on the softness of Merlot anchored by the tannin and freshness of the Cabernets. The Baron Bich has drawn assessment from Falstaff, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter. Le Different, the secondary expression, follows the same varietal framework.
