Château de Villeneuve produces wines from the Loire Valley, drawing on the region's signature varieties and terroir. Les Cormiers Saumur, a Chenin Blanc, represents the winery's work with the Loire's most versatile white grape—a variety prized for its ability to express mineral precision and complexity across dry and off-dry styles. The winery's red portfolio centers on Cabernet Franc, the Loire's primary dark grape, with two bottlings from the Saumur-Champigny appellation: Vieilles Vignes and Le Grand Clos. Both have been assessed by major critics including Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Falstaff. Saumur-Champigny, situated on the region's slate and clay soils, produces Cabernet Francs marked by structure and aromatic intensity—characteristics that define the appellation's best expressions.
