Château Guibot

Château Guibot produces wines from Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion, the easternmost appellation of the Libournais region in Bordeaux. The estate's flagship, La Fourvieille, blends Cabernet Franc and Merlot in the classical Right Bank style—structured yet supple, with the mineral precision characteristic of Saint-Émilion's clay and limestone soils. La Fourvieille Réserve de la Famille follows the same varietal composition, offering a more concentrated expression. Cerro Gordo, a three-varietal blend adding Cabernet Sauvignon to the Franc and Merlot base, rounds out the portfolio. Both Decanter and Wine Spectator have assessed the winery's releases. Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion sits in a cooler pocket of the appellation, where Cabernet Franc thrives alongside Merlot, yielding wines with freshness and aging potential.
