Château Lafleur sits in Pomerol, the heart of Bordeaux's right bank, where clay and iron-rich soils yield wines of dark intensity and textural depth. The estate produces two principal wines: Les Pensées de Lafleur and Pomerol, both built on the classic Libournais blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Merlot anchors the wines with ripe fruit and supple tannins, while Cabernet Franc adds structure and aromatic complexity. Les Pensées de Lafleur, the flagship, has drawn assessment from Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff. The Pomerol bottling follows, offering the same varietal foundation with its own expression of terroir.
