Château Lauretan
Château Lauretan sits in Entre-deux-Mers, the historic heart of Bordeaux's right bank, where clay and limestone soils shape wines of structure and depth. The winery produces two principal expressions: a Bordeaux Supérieur built from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, and a Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux anchored in Merlot with supporting Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast. The Bordeaux Supérieur, with its blend of Cabernet varieties and Petit Verdot, carries the structure typical of the appellation's left-bank influence, while the Cadillac expression leans toward the riper, more voluptuous character Merlot brings to the region's southern reaches. Entre-deux-Mers remains one of Bordeaux's most dynamic zones for serious, food-friendly reds at measured price points.
