Château Petit Boyer produces red wines from Blaye, in the Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The winery's portfolio centers on Merlot-based blends, each anchored by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and complementary varieties. Cuvée Royale Blaye and Vieilles Vignes Blaye, both five-variety assemblages, represent the upper range of the lineup. Les Lions Blaye offers a three-grape expression of the same terroir. These wines reflect the Right Bank's preference for Merlot structure softened by Cabernet Franc's aromatic lift, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec or Petit Verdot adding depth and tannin architecture. Wine Enthusiast has rated the portfolio.
