Château Plagnac sits in the Médoc, Bordeaux's left-bank stronghold of structured red wines. The estate produces two principal cuvées built on the region's classic pairing of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Les Tours de Plagnac, the flagship, marries these varieties into a wine that has drawn assessment from Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Spectator. The Médoc cuvée follows the same varietal foundation, offering a second expression of the appellation's character. Both wines reflect the Médoc's signature approach: Cabernet-led structure tempered by Merlot's mid-palate weight, built for aging in the cool maritime climate of the left bank.
