Its Pinot Grigio Valdadige, made from the crisp northern Italian variety, represents the lighter end of the range. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo—the region's signature red—draws on the dark-skinned Montepulciano grape, which thrives in Abruzzo's continental climate and yields wines of structure and earth-forward character.
