The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo—the region's signature red—draws on the dark-skinned Montepulciano grape, which thrives in Abruzzo's continental climate and yields wines of structure and earth-forward character. A Lambrusco Rosso rounds out the selection, tapping into the playful, slightly effervescent tradition of that northeastern Italian style.
