Citille di Sopra produces Brunello di Montalcino from Sangiovese in Toscana's storied wine country. The winery's core expression, Brunello di Montalcino, demonstrates the grape's capacity for structure and aging potential in this region's clay and limestone soils. The Riserva designation signals extended barrel aging, deepening complexity and refinement. A single-vineyard bottling, Vigna Poggio Ronconi, offers a more granular expression of terroir.
