City on a Hill produces wines from Swartland, the Western Cape's dynamic region known for old-vine Grenache and Cinsault. Song of Ascents, a Cinsault, and Thousand Hills, a Grenache, represent the core of the range and have drawn attention from major critics including Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff.
