Clos Constantin

Languedoc reds and whites from the mineral heights of Terrasses du Larzac.

Clos Constantin works the steep, limestone-rich slopes of Terrasses du Larzac in southern Languedoc, a region where altitude and mineral soils shape wines of precision and depth. The winery's reds marry the dark fruit and spice of Syrah with the bright, peppery character of Grenache and Cinsault—a blend native to the Midi. Cirque d'Arjies, their flagship red, balances these varieties into a structured wine that has drawn attention from Decanter and Wine Advocate. The lighter Arjies offers a more immediate expression of the same terroir and grapes. On the white side, Strate blends Grenache Blanc and Vermentino, capturing the aromatic lift and salinity typical of Mediterranean whites grown at elevation. The wines reflect the particular challenge and reward of Terrasses du Larzac: extracting elegance from a landscape built on steep terrain and ancient stone.
