Clos des Menuts sits in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, the heart of Bordeaux's Right Bank, where clay and limestone soils shape wines of structure and depth. The winery produces three principal expressions: its flagship Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, a Cabernet Sauvignon–led blend with Cabernet Franc and Merlot; L'Excellence du Clos des Menuts, which shifts the balance toward Merlot while maintaining Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon; and Le Petit Menuts, a Saint-Émilion offering the same three varieties in a more approachable register. All three have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate. The flagship and L'Excellence rank closely in critical evaluation, both reflecting the region's hallmark blend of power and refinement. Le Petit Menuts extends the house's range to a broader audience without departing from the Cabernet-Merlot-Franc framework that defines the appellation.
