Cornin

Cornin produces white wines from Bourgogne's southern reaches, where limestone-rich soils and continental climate shape Chardonnay of mineral precision. The winery's portfolio centers on two appellations: Pouilly-Fuissé, the region's most prestigious white designation, and Saint-Véran, its neighbour to the south. Pouilly-Fuissé 'Clos du Roy' and Les Plessys represent the winery's core offerings, both expressing the bright acidity and stone-fruit character typical of the appellation. Saint-Véran Les Serreuxdières extends the range into a slightly lighter register, though with comparable structure. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter. Cornin's approach emphasizes the terroir of individual vineyard sites—a hallmark of serious Burgundy producers—rather than a single house style imposed across bottlings.
