De Leonardis produces Aglianico del Vulture in Basilicata, a southern Italian region where volcanic soils and altitude shape wines of mineral intensity and structure. The winery's portfolio centers on this indigenous variety, which thrives on the slopes of Mount Vulture. Masculetum Aglianico del Vulture represents the top expression, followed by Piano del Moro and Terre di Renes. Aglianico, a late-ripening grape with dark fruit and tannin backbone, finds particular expression in this terroir. Wine Spectator has rated the winery's releases.
