Delas produces Syrah-based wines from the Southern Rhône, drawing from the region's steep granite slopes and continental climate. The winery's portfolio centers on the appellations of Hermitage and Côte-Rôtie, where Syrah reaches its most structured and age-worthy expression. Ligne de Crete Les Grandes Vignes Hermitage and La Landonne Côte-Rôtie represent the upper range of the lineup, both dark, complex Syriahs marked by the mineral precision and black-fruit intensity characteristic of these northern Rhône terroirs. Les Bessards Hermitage rounds out the flagship offerings. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Falstaff. The Côtes-du-Rhône appellation itself is known for blended reds built on Grenache and Syrah, though Delas's focus tilts toward the single-varietal Syrah expressions of the more prestigious northern zones.
