Deutzerhof produces Pinot Noir from Germany's Ahr region, a steep-sloped valley known for elegant red wines. The winery's portfolio centers on two expressions of the variety: Frühburgunder (Pinot Noir Précoce), an early-ripening clone, and Spätburgunder, the classic late-ripening form. The Herrenberg Frühburgunder GG and the Mönchberg GG Spätburgunder—both vineyard-designated Grosses Gewächs bottlings—represent the winery's focus on site-specific terroir.
