Domaine Alain Verset produces wines from Cornas, the steep granite slopes of the Northern Rhône where Syrah reaches its most structured expression. The winery's Signature Verset Cornas, a pure Syrah from this demanding terroir, demonstrates the dark intensity and mineral precision the appellation demands. A second Cornas offering shows the consistency of fruit and tannin the vineyard site yields. Beyond red wine, the domaine also produces Saint-Péray, a white blend of Marsanne and Roussanne that captures the aromatic complexity and texture these traditional Northern Rhône varieties bring to still wine.
