Domaine Bernard Chave produces Syrah-based wines from Crozes-Hermitage in the Northern Rhône, a region defined by granite slopes and continental climate that shape the character of its dark, structured reds. The domaine's portfolio spans three tiers: the flagship Hermitage, a wine of concentration and depth; the Tête de Cuvée Crozes-Hermitage, which bridges ambition and terroir expression; and the core Crozes-Hermitage bottling. All three rest on Syrah, the variety that dominates this corner of the Rhône and yields wines marked by dark fruit, mineral tension, and the peppery spice endemic to the appellation. The wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate.
