Domaine Chapel

Domaine Chapel sits in Juliénas, one of Beaujolais's ten crus, where Gamay thrives on granite and schist soils. The winery produces wines from across the region's finest appellations. Its Charbonniéres Fleurie, a Gamay from the celebrated Fleurie cru, represents the upper range of the domaine's output. The Juliénas and Chiroubles—both Gamay-based expressions from their respective crus—round out a focused portfolio. Gamay in these northern Beaujolais crus develops structure and mineral precision absent from the region's lighter expressions. Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator have all assessed the domaine's releases. The wines reflect the terroir of their individual appellations: Fleurie's silky elegance, Juliénas's depth, and Chiroubles's floral character.
