Domaine de la Poulette produces Pinot Noir from Nuits-Saint-Georges, one of Burgundy's most structured and age-worthy communes. The winery's two premier cru bottlings—Les Vaucrains and Les Poulettes—represent the terroir's characteristic depth and mineral tension. Les Vaucrains, the flagship, shows the darker, more concentrated character typical of its climat, while Les Poulettes offers a complementary expression of the same appellation. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. Nuits-Saint-Georges sits at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, where Pinot Noir achieves its most demanding and rewarding form: wines built on acidity and tannin rather than immediate fruit, requiring patience to unfold.
