Domaine de la Prévoté - Bonnigal et Bodet Vignerons
Domaine de la Prévoté sits in Touraine-Amboise, the heart of the Middle Loire Valley, where cool continental conditions shape wines of precision and mineral clarity. The domaine works with the region's signature varieties: Chenin Blanc, which here expresses itself in two distinct styles—Les Clos de Beauce as a dry expression and Les Beauvoirs with richer texture—and Côt, the dark-skinned grape that thrives in Loire terroir and appears in Mont Luma. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate. The Loire's limestone and clay soils, combined with the domaine's focus on these classical varieties, yield wines marked by acidity, structure, and the subtle floral and stone-fruit character typical of the region. Touraine-Amboise's position along the Loire River moderates temperature swings, allowing grapes to ripen fully while retaining the freshness that defines Loire white and red wines.
