Domaine de Saumarez sits in Languedoc, the sprawling southern French region known for robust Mediterranean reds and textured whites. The domaine works with the classic grapes of the Midi: Grenache and Syrah for its red wines, and the trio of Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, and Roussanne for whites. Its flagship red—a Grenache and Syrah blend—shows the dark fruit and peppery structure characteristic of the region, while S' Blanc, built from Marsanne and Roussanne with Grenache Blanc, reflects the mineral, herbal character of southern French white blends.
