Domaine du Petit Val
Domaine du Petit Val produces Chenin Blanc wines from the Loire Valley, working within two of the region's most prestigious sweet wine appellations. The winery's Bonnezeaux, a concentrated expression of Chenin Blanc from one of the Loire's steepest vineyard slopes, has earned recognition from Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. A vineyard-designated bottling, Bonnezeaux La Montagne, offers a parallel expression of the same terroir and grape. The winery also makes Côteaux du Layon, another Loire sweet wine built on Chenin Blanc's natural affinity for botrytis and its capacity to balance richness with acidity. These wines reflect the Loire Valley's cool-climate conditions and the particular character of Chenin Blanc—a variety capable of expressing mineral precision and honeyed complexity in the hands of careful producers.
