Domaine Giraud
Domaine Giraud produces wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Southern Rhône's most prestigious appellation. The estate works with the region's classic varieties: Grenache, Syrah, and the white grapes—Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, and Clairette—that define the area's character. Grenaches de Pierre, a pure Grenache expression, shows the depth expected of the variety in this terroir. Les Gallimardes, a Syrah-Grenache blend, balances the two grapes' structural and aromatic profiles. The white Les Gallimardes draws on the complexity of four varieties, a traditional approach to Châteauneuf-du-Pape blanc. The wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Falstaff, and Wine Enthusiast.
