Domaine l'Aiguelière
Domaine l'Aiguelière sits in Montpeyroux, a limestone-rich corner of Languedoc where Mediterranean heat and altitude create wines of structure and depth. The winery works with the classic southern Rhône varieties—Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre—drawing character from the region's garrigue-studded slopes. La Côte Rousse Montpeyroux, a blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache, anchors the portfolio, followed by Côte Dorée, which pairs Grenache with Syrah. L'Esprit Terrasses du Larzac extends the range into the adjacent plateau, layering Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah across higher-altitude terrain. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. The domaine's approach reflects Montpeyroux's terroir: wines marked by the mineral spine of limestone soils and the ripeness of a sun-exposed landscape.
