Domaine Petitjean
Domaine Petitjean produces wines from Bourgogne's Côtes d'Auxerre, a northern outpost of Burgundy known for mineral-driven whites and elegant reds. The domaine works primarily with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the classical grapes of the region. Terre Blanche, a Chardonnay-based bottling, represents the winery's work with white Burgundy, while Les Boisseaux, built on Pinot Noir, shows the red side of the appellation. A third offering, Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Blanc, rounds out the portfolio in white. Wine Enthusiast has rated these releases. The Côtes d'Auxerre sits at the northern edge of Burgundy's influence, where continental climate and limestone-rich soils shape wines of precision and restraint.
