Domaine Tourbillon works the Southern Rhône, where the Mistral wind and galets roulés—smooth stones that radiate heat—shape the character of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The winery's red wines draw on the region's traditional blend: Grenache anchors the frame, with Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, and Muscardin adding structure and spice. The Vieilles Vignes Châteauneuf-du-Pape, sourced from mature vines, shows the depth and complexity that old-vine fruit can deliver. On the white side, Domaine Tourbillon produces both a conventional blend—Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier—and a more restrained expression in Confidentiel, weighted toward Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. These whites capture the mineral precision and subtle stone-fruit character the Southern Rhône is capable of.
