Dourthe produces wines across Bordeaux, the world's most celebrated red wine region. The house works with the classic Bordeaux palette: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Essence Bordeaux, a blend of all four varieties, represents the upper tier of the portfolio and has drawn assessment from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter. No. 1 Bordeaux, a Cabernet-Merlot blend, sits at the core of production. The Promesse de Dourthe Côtes de Bourg offers a Merlot-based expression from the Right Bank appellation. Across the range, Dourthe's wines reflect the structural and aromatic signatures of their respective terroirs—from the gravelly Left Bank to the clay-limestone soils of Côtes de Bourg.
