Egly-Ouriet
Egly-Ouriet works from vineyards in Ambonnay, a Grand Cru site within the Montagne de Reims. The house produces Champagne across multiple terroirs and styles, from the Chardonnay-focused Les Prémices Brut to the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend of Millésime Brut, both from the Grand Cru designation. A third offering, Les Vignes de Bisseuil, draws on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier from Premier Cru vineyards. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff. The Millésime Brut and Les Prémices Brut rank among the house's highest-rated expressions, reflecting the precision and mineral character typical of Ambonnay's chalky soils and cool-climate viticulture.
