Enrique Mendoza produces wines from Alicante, in the Valencia region of southeastern Spain. The winery focuses on indigenous varieties suited to the Mediterranean climate: Monastrell, the region's signature dark grape, and white varieties including Macabeo and Moscatel. Las Quebradas Monastrell and Finca Xaconero Monastrell represent the winery's work with Monastrell, a variety known for deep color, ripe dark fruit, and structured tannins. La Tremenda blends Macabeo and Moscatel, pairing the former's crisp minerality with the latter's aromatic, honeyed character. Wines from Enrique Mendoza have been assessed by Falstaff, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
