Enrique Mendoza produces wines from Alicante, in the Valencia region of southeastern Spain. The winery focuses on indigenous varieties suited to the Mediterranean climate: Monastrell, the region's signature dark grape, and white varieties including Macabeo and Moscatel. Las Quebradas Monastrell and Finca Xaconero Monastrell represent the winery's work with Monastrell, a variety known for deep color, ripe dark fruit, and structured tannins. La Tremenda blends Macabeo and Moscatel, pairing the former's crisp minerality with the latter's aromatic, honeyed character.
