Faniel & Fils produces champagne from the Champagne region of France. The house works primarily with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the classical grapes of the region. Les Secrets d'Andre Blanc de Blancs, a pure Chardonnay expression, represents the winery's approach to the varietal's mineral precision and complexity. The Brut Nature, a blend of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, forgoes dosage to emphasize the natural acidity and structure of the base wines. The winery also produces Ratafia de Champagne, a traditional fortified wine made from the region's grape must and brandy. Wine Enthusiast has rated these releases.
