Fongoli

Fongoli produces wines in Montefalco, the heart of Umbria's wine country in central Italy. The winery focuses on Sagrantino, the region's signature dark-skinned variety—a grape known for its structure, tannin density, and capacity to age. Fracanton Montefalco Sagrantino Secco and Montefalco Sagrantino represent the winery's core expression of this varietal, both rated by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate. The winery also works with Trebbiano Spoletino, a white grape native to the region, which appears in Laetitia Bullarum Trebbiano Spoletino Frizzante—a lightly sparkling interpretation. Montefalco's volcanic soils and continental climate create conditions suited to producing wines with depth and complexity. Fongoli's portfolio reflects the traditional grapes and terroir of this distinctive Umbrian subregion.
