François Secondé

François Secondé works the chalky slopes of Sillery, a Grand Cru village in Champagne's Montagne de Reims. The house produces two flagship expressions: Clavier Brut, a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend that marries the structure of black fruit with the precision of chalk, and Blanc de Blancs Brut, a pure Chardonnay that channels the mineral tension of the terroir. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast. The Clavier carries the weight and complexity expected of a Pinot-led cuvée from this prestigious cru, while the Blanc de Blancs offers the linear elegance and acidity that define Chardonnay-driven Champagne from the region's best sites.
