Gaintza
Gaintza produces wines from País Vasco, the Basque region of northern Spain. The winery works with Hondarrabi Zuri, the indigenous white grape of the region, alongside international varieties like Chardonnay. Aitako, a blend of Hondarrabi Zuri and Chardonnay, represents the winery's approach to marrying local tradition with broader winemaking practice. Getariako Txakolina, made from Hondarrabi Zuri alone, captures the mineral and brisk character typical of the Getaria appellation. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast and Wine Advocate.
