Gasper Wines
Gasper Wines operates in Goriška Brda, the limestone-rich corner of Slovenia's Primorje region where Alpine influence meets Mediterranean warmth. The winery works with varieties suited to this distinctive terroir: Cabernet Franc, which thrives in the region's mineral soils; Malvasia, the aromatic white that defines the area; and a blend of Ribolla Gialla with Chardonnay. The Cabernet Franc achieves depth and structure characteristic of the variety in cooler continental climates, while the Malvasia expresses the floral, textured character Goriška Brda is known for. The Chardonnay-Rebula blend draws on two grapes with complementary acidity and body.
