Geodesy produces wines from Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills, a subregion of the Willamette Valley known for cool-climate viticulture. The winery's portfolio centers on two flagship expressions: Sage Ridge Vineyard Red, a Bordeaux-style blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, and Sage Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, a varietal expression from the same vineyard site. Both have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast and Wine Advocate. A Chehalem Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay rounds out the core range, capturing the region's capacity for structured white wines. The Eola-Amity Hills' maritime-influenced climate and volcanic soils support the ripening of Bordeaux varieties and cool-climate Chardonnay, lending these wines the balance and precision characteristic of Oregon's most serious producers.
