George Goulet produces Champagne from the chalky soils and cool climate of France's northernmost wine region. The house crafts two principal expressions: a Brut Champagne built from Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir, and a Blanc de Blancs Brut made entirely from Chardonnay. The Brut blend draws on the structure and complexity that comes from blending three classic Champagne varieties, while the Blanc de Blancs showcases the mineral precision and acidity that Chardonnay alone can deliver in this terroir. Wine Spectator has rated both wines.
