Gianni Brunelli produces Sangiovese-based wines from Toscana, in the heart of central Italy. The winery's core offerings centre on Brunello di Montalcino, the region's flagship expression of Sangiovese aged in wood for extended periods to develop structure and complexity. The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva represents the upper tier of this category, crafted from selected parcels and given additional maturation. Alongside these traditional bottlings, the winery makes Amor Costante, a Toscana-designated Sangiovese that sits outside the strict Brunello framework. Sangiovese from this region typically shows dark cherry, leather, and mineral notes, with the tannin architecture to age gracefully. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Falstaff, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate.
