Grifalco produces Aglianico from Basilicata, in Italy's volcanic south. The region's mineral-rich soils and continental climate shape wines of structure and depth. Daginestra Aglianico del Vulture Superiore, the winery's flagship, draws from the highest-elevation vineyard sites, where Aglianico develops dark fruit, tannin, and the savory complexity the variety is known for. Damaschito, a second expression, offers similar intensity from the same terroir. Gricos rounds the portfolio. All three wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Advocate.
