Gutsverwaltung Niederhausen Schlossböckelheim
Gutsverwaltung Niederhausen Schlossböckelheim produces Rieslings from the Nahe region in Germany, where slate and mineral-rich soils shape wines of precision and depth. The winery's portfolio centers on vineyard-designated bottlings from two storied sites: Hermannsberg and Kupfergrube. Its Niederhäuser Hermannsberg Riesling Eiswein—a botrytized dessert wine—represents the upper reaches of Riesling's sweetness spectrum, while the Schlossböckelheim Kupfergrube Riesling Auslese offers a more restrained expression of noble rot. The dry Niederhäuser Steinberg Riesling rounds out the range. All three wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator and Falstaff. The Nahe's cool climate and diverse terroir allow Riesling to develop the aromatic intensity and acidity that define the region's character.
